The Ambani backed telecom operator, Reliance Jio has announced 100% cashback on exchange offer on its JioFi 4G Hotspot or WiFi dongle.

Other than the cash back the company is offering free data worth Rs 2010.

“100% Cashback on Dongle Exchange, 4G data worth Rs 2010,” Jio’s website said.

The WiFi dongle has been priced at Rs 1999 and is offering download speed up to 150 Mbps. Upload speed via JioFi goes up to 50Mbps, the company claimed..

Jio said if customers avail the device without the exchange offer they would get benefits of Rs 1,005 inclusive of five vouchers of Rs 201 data boosters, leading to an effective price of Rs 994 for the JioFi.

“With Jio 4G SIM in your JioFi, access high speed 4G data and download Jio4GVoice app on your 2G/3G smartphones to make HD voice calls,” Jio said.

Video, HD Video calls, SMS and Audio, Video conferences can be made with the Jio4GVoice app using the hotspot.

Other specifications of the JioFi device as listed by the company are 2300mah battery, which Jio claimed was the ‘best in class battery, and supported 5-6 hours surf time.

Maximum number of 10 devices can be connected to the device.
